    Hi Mike,

I popped over after seeing your smiling face on mybloglog widget on my website! :)

I completely agree with all of your tips above!!

Just recently I have been researching some of the top 100 blogs on internet marketing on the web and some of them are absolutely amazing. They are so content rich and really informative and you can tell the people behind them love what they do.

I have now placed you in my Google Reader so I will be back here next time you post! :P

    Great to meet you!

    Jacinta :D

    Hi Mick,

    Nice list!

All good points…I think numbers two and four stand out to me as they pretty much go hand in hand.

One without the other is pretty much pointless. No point in driving traffic if you don’t have the content.

    Cheers,
    Rod

Tried to retweet this post from the reweet button, but it was weird and gave a message that the link was bad. Huh?

    Hey Mick,

Great points you make. It does take a bit of work to be a successful blogger.

I think if you can get past the roadblocks to success, presented by number 1, you’re halfway there.

    Mike

  7. Dave Whittle

    Hi Mick,

Number 1 is definitely No 1!
    Procrastination is a monster.

Sometimes I wonder what to post about and sometimes 2 -3 ideas pop up.

It is all about time I guess.

    Great post

    Dave

    Hi Mick,
Great post! #11 strikes a chord with me . . . sharing ideas helps all of us. I like the quote on http://potpiegirl.com where she says something like “lighting another candle doesn’t diminish your own light” or something to that affect. Helping someone else will come back to benefit you in the long run.

    Keep your light on,
    Theresa

    Hey Mick,

You hit it right in the sweet spot on this one. Successful blogging takes work, but it can be fun work… I find I have so many things I want to post that I get stuck with where to start. Hey thanks for the nice comment on my blog recently as well.

    Hi Mick,

I like your list of what successful bloggers do. I’ve noticed you changed the font size and the look of your blog. Good.

There seems to be a discrepancy in the number of comments in the top commentators and the number that shows when people post a comment.

I like your blog now being nofollow free. I’m thinking of doing that too but when I do it I’ll also add keyword luv plug in.

It’s always nice to visit your blog and learn something new. Great job.

    Vance

    Mick,
As always, you do what you preach.
These are great tips and yours is a great blog ( I like the changes to it too)

Nice list Mick spotted your tweet of twiiter :-) I can say that the never miss an opportunity to get traffic is the best one followed by “A successful blogger as well as giving value to his readers will seize an opportunity to make some money.” It’s all relevant. To your success.

    Hi Mick

I totally agree with your summary of the qualities needed. Many of them come under the overall theme of “Be Teachable”, something all successful entrepeneurs practice.

Some good things to keep in mind.
    Thanks Mick

    Anthony
