<description>I think this can only be good news, afterall there have been problems with people attempting to cancel and not being able to. This then leaves a bitter taste in people&#039;s mouths - and not only gives them a negative view of the person/company they were buying from, but also the whole IM / information product arena.

This isn&#039;t saying that there can&#039;t be continuity programs - just that things will be changed for the benefit of the consumer. This will actually be of benefit for us Internet Marketers too - it will help the credibility of information products, the IM industry and any continuity programs that play to the rules will still be able to reap the benefits.

		<description>Hi Mick,

I had heard about this in January, It was bound to happen sooner or later... The credit card companies are only just becoming wise to the way marketers work online.

They will always be playing catch up and having to alter their terms of service on a regular basis.

On another note, do you still happen to have those photos of me from Lee&#039;s event in Manchester?... I forgot to save them all on Facebook and figured they would always be on the Alex Jeffreys Students group if I needed them, but you seem to have taken them down from what I can tell?

If you still have them it would be great if you could send them to my email, which I use in the details for leaving blog comments.

Cheers!

		<description>Hi Mick,

I&#039;ve first heard about this at the Alex Jeffreys Workshop in Las Vegas and considered it a good news as Alex did.

I have always avoided signing up to programs like that. Even when I knew the guys were good like in the case of Lee Mcintyre and John Thornhill.

The fact hat Visa and Master Card have been losing money like crazy due to huge amounts of cancellations shows that people didn&#039;t really want to continue with the programs for the most part even though they couldn&#039;t resist signing up for them.

Anything that is forced is and should be short lived and better yet not started at all.

It&#039;s much better to be open about the cost at the very start. Those who sign up then are much more likely to continue with it.

Good and informative post. Had I not been to Vegas I would have likely not known about the subject and your post would thus have been the only source of news about it for me.

Even though I had been aware of this, reading your post reminded me of it again.

		<description>Hi Mick,

I really don&#039;t like the forced continuity programs. I have now avoided signing up to quite a few free things because of the forced continuity. Especially when some of the forced continuity programs are a waste of money!! I have been scammed a few times too many. Great post and interesting thoughts. I am sure the big players will get around it somehow, however those people like me that have been scammed a few times won;t be so gullible.

Hope all is great.

<description>Hi Mike, it sure is going to cause all sorts of problems and maybe a lot of genuine
Marketers will lose out,and sure the more savvy internet marketers will get round it.
I have never tried it yet Mike butI certainly wouldn&#039;t rule it out , It would be really wise
to research thoroughly before I bought into one as you could lose fist fulls of money
Cheers mick.</description>

		<description>Hi Mick
This is going to cause all kinds of problems, but the big guys will of course get round it. Have you tried it yourself at all?
Best wishes
