BuyingTraffic V Organic search.

Out of the two what works best?
I have been using organic search for years and if your Seo was done right it worked a treat.
However the Google boys have made several updates in the last few years with Panda and now Penquin they are really making in sure “in their eyes any way “that they level the playing field and organic results can’t be manipulated.
If you are providing top quality content you shouldn’t be too worried about any of the changes simply because by providing stuff that people want “well hopefully” So both Google and its readers are happy to award you by getting your up serps up.
I have taken all my eggs out of the basket and started buying traffic.
People become alarmed when you mention buying traffic but as Chad Hamzeh says in his Traffic Blackbook you are not only buying traffic you are buying Data.
After buying some Solo ads and using my own product as a backend I realised how profitable buying traffic could be if is done right, It’s not a magic wand and you have to use due diligence “ I just needed to tweak and scale things up.
Where to start buying traffic.
Most people dive in Pay per Click .My first venture was to test facebook ads.
It went okay I spent around $20 just to test things out and made around $14 back a little bit of a loss but again I don’t see this as loosing money as I now have an idea of what demographics I should be aiming for. and tweak things a bit to add to my gains , I was promoting a click bank product about flight simulation ,there you go a nice little niche for you to pick up on.
Just another point of interest I was over at the warrior forum and some guy had his facebook account banned for trying to promote dog stuff apparently he reckons Facebook thought he was a spammer.
Loads of other marketers chipped in and said the same thing DON’T promote dog stuff on FB.
A dog might be man’s best friend but its not Facebooks “apparently”.
In my next post I will be doing a case study of my first adventure into Cost Per View Marketing.

Cheers Mick

Why CPA marketing ? Well to be honest it’s down to one person really his name is Jason Westwick

Yep like me you probably have never heard of him neither had I until last week when I stumbled across his wso “warrior forum special offer.
I have got to be honest and say I was nearly going to give it a miss after all I have bought some stuff in the wso section that really was trash.

Anyway my gut feeling for some reason and I don’t know why made me buy it.
To be honest I left it sitting on my desk top for two day and thought to myself mm I will have to get round to listening to those mp3s I downloaded from the warrior forum.

Then a few days ago I thought I need to get away from this bloody computer its making my eyes redder than a baboons backside.

So I downloaded the mp3s onto my phone and thought well Mick do that house cleaning you promised to do for the wife , when she left for work that morning.

So on goes the mobile the first interviewee is Chad Hamzeh wow this guy knows his stuff absolutely amazing guy what he doesn’t know about buying traffic isn’t worth knowing but that not all he does martial arts which I suppose helps him in his discipline he really has his day well planned out.

My favourite interviewee Hana “What an inspiration” I don’t know where she is from but I am guessing somewhere in the middle east as she gives a great background to her story, for example there was no PayPal on money processors in her country when she started off and she had to literally walk to the bank to pay for all her IM expenses Hana is a very good public speaker by the way and it comes across in the interview.

“Hana has won prizes for Public speaking and it shows

Hana is very articulate but very friendly with it.”
Then there Is KJ Rocker another inspirational character who really delves deep in to what methods actually work for him he too found the time to aspire to his goals in difficult times
Then there Was Oliver Kenyon A young lad from here in the UK who has set up his own forum cpa fix.
As soon as the interview was over with Oliver I went over to the forum and signed up
Oliver to gives away some golden nuggets of info in the interview.

Then the was Omid a graduate engineer who manages to combine his Cpa marketing with his degree work he is a mechanical engineer.
It’s amazing how he monetizes with his CPA he mentioned about starting up a coaching program in the summer which even though I have been online for five years might be something I might be interested in.
Do you know I could kick myself I have been a member of Peerfly affiliate network for over a year but I never took it seriously even though I must say my affiliate Manager there, Luke Kling has a very good reputation and he certainly has his finger on the button, he has always answered my request for any question I have fired at him he is one of the good guys.

What did I do next? I applied to get into Maxbounty affiliate network filled in the online application form and waited for the Call , Dam what happen next, because I am busy sorting my Ad Net -works business out “ yes I do run an Ad network more on that later.”
I missed the blinking call from a lady called Val Husky , ah well never mind I phoned Maxbounty and asked to speak to Val after a five minute chat I was accepted. “ good tip from Jason ,”phone them before they phone you “
So I look forward to getting deeper into Cpa and hanging around with the people who I have mentioned in this post.
Last but not least I have to mention Jason Westwick himself a superb interviewer who could show the guys over at the BBC a thing or to so watch out Jeremy Vine there is a new kid on the block , and I want to thank Jason for introducing me to those lovely egoless people who have got me salavatating at me old chops over Cpa marketing.
Thanks Jason.

Ramos

Have you ever heard of an internet marketer named Oz
He seems to be an elusive figure.
I first heard of him back in 2010 he is an ex stockbroker who came into IM a few years ago.
Can’t remember now where I came across him but I think it was the warrior forum.
Anyway I bought a report off him called RAMOS.
What the bloody hell is the Ramos report you may ask well Ramos briefly means Revolutionary affiliate Marketing on Steroids.
What I like about Oz is that he writes very simply and can he even compares affiliate marketing to the stock market in a easy to read style.
The Stock market has always remained a mystery to me I would love to learn more about it but that’s for another day ,so back to Ramos

Truth is I have only just today read it more in depth and even this report is two years old
It is very relevant today.
For instance Oz mentions how difficult it is to promote high Gravity products on click bank
Its common sense really but taking into account that the super affiliates with big lists hammer the high gravity products knowing quite well that because there lists are so huge 10,000 to a 100,000 or even larger, they know that if they can get even a mere 1% conversions they are going to make decent money.
The big affiliates don’t care how many people unsubscribe from their lists as they can always gain more subscribers by producing a new product and get there IM mates to promote it.
EPC High earnings per click
Should be taken into account when promoting Click bank products or any products for that matter as Oz puts it if you the affiliate sends 100 visitors to a product let’s call it how to stop your dog barking
and the price of the product is a $100 if 20 people buy then that’s a gross profit of £2000 (£100 X 20 sales dead easy right?) So the affiliate would earn £400 from %20 commissions so the EPC is £400/100 which = £4
Another thing Oz touches on are the very low commissions over at Amazon .
I know this only to well as I have sold high ticket items on amazon only to be rewarded with very low as little as %8 commissions, but the best thing about Amazon is if people go on to buy other products once they have clicked your affiliate link then you will be accredit that sale.
However the downside unlike click bank whereby the length of the cookie can last up to 60days is that the cookies on Amazon “the footprint from your affiliate link” only lasts 24hrs.
So if anyone clicks on your affiliate amazon link and does not buy within the 24hr period its farewell to your affiliate commissions. Alarming isn’t it
There is an answer of course to earning big commissions with little competition and Oz mentions a few marketers who pay out life time commissions on their own products .
That’s the direction that you and me dear reader should be going in.
Promoting high quality products from reputable marketers that don’t churn out crap
I can’t remember what I paid for the Ramos report I think it was around $2 but one thing about it is that it opened my eyes to the pros and cons of affiliate marketing ,and now I always look out for stuff that OZ puts out.
Cheers Mick

There is no doubt that there are numerous ways to build lists.

A squeeze page with a free gift is usually the first place people start
However! How do you get people or traffic to your squeeze page?
There are two ways organic traffic or paid.
Obviously paid traffic is out of reach for a heck of a lot of
People, and beginners are often apprehensive in shelling out money or let us be more direct
“Very apprehensive ”
at throwing money” at something that hasn’t yet being proven to work.

Jv giveaways are one way of building a list so the runners of JV events tell us but are the people who optin responsive buyers or tyre kickers.
I will take the guess work out for you they are TYRE KICKERS and useless to market to.
The best way I used myself on making money in JV events is to have a bloody good converting offer on your down load page and hope for the best other than that you will have a unresponsive list of freebie seekers soaking up valuable Aweber space at a cost to you.

Solo ads or should I say ARS* hole ads are just as bad
Been there and done that another great way of building up useless leads
And even more TYRE KICKERS
People build lists “for their own self- interest that may sound harsh but its bloody true but if you Create a good product people will ALWAYS be around you it’s the law of nature, Recommend good products and people will open your emails.
People say build a good relationship with your list but you can never do that unless you provide them with quality information and products
So if you want to go ahead and do JV Giveaways and Arseh*le -Ads good luck you will need it.

Cheers Mick
